This stoneware plate has been thrown on the wheel and decorated using the scraffito technique. It has then been provided with various blue and white underglazes to create our Seascape motif.

Louise uses a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays for her pieces. All the utilitarian pieces you see on this site are food-safe and can be used in the dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, but it's best not to use them in the microwave as some of the glazes contain oxides.
