FULL-DAY PAINTING EXPERIENCE - LARGE LOOSE FLORALS

    Saturday 13 September 9.45 am – 4.00 pm

£80.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.

This full-day group workshop with our guest artist, Sarah Heather, is suitable for all skill levels.

Join Sarah for a fun and relaxed "large loose floral workshop" where we'll embrace our creativity and let go of perfection together using big canvases (minimum 60 x 60 cm) and intuitive painting techniques.

Whether you're an experienced artist wanting to loosen up or someone who's just starting out, this workshop is designed for everyone, even if you lack confidence with paint and bigger canvases, or just don't know where to start - I can help with that!

We'll explore splatter, drips, mark making, bold expressive shapes, and vibrant colours on canvas. Working on easels, tables or the grass, whatever feels right for that moment. No pressure to create a finished painting, but I can help guide you to consider composition and work towards an end or
just enjoy pure abstract joy and creativity!

Come as you are, and let's create something uplifting together in a supportive and inspiring environment in the Blended Monkey gardens.

This FULL DAY PAINTING WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey Studios & gardens on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.

Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.

This painting art experience is suitable for 16+.

About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.

All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.

This would make a fabulous CRAFTY GIFT for someone - so drop us a line and we can post out to you/the recipient a complimentary personalised gift certificate for this experience🎁

    The full-day workshop includes:

    - Materials & use of equipment on the day

    • Meet our Guest Tutor

"Hello there, I'm Sarah. For the past five years, I've been creating art and bringing joy with my vibrant and joyful acrylic paintings. As a self-taught artist, my creative journey has been driven by exploration, joy, passion, and a love of bringing life to every piece I create.

I have just retired from working for Citizens Advice for over 20 years and am now showcasing the skills I have learned as an artist to help others in supporting themselves through art by just showing up and having some fun.

I use a limited but considered palette of colours along with collage, drawing with ink pencils and scribbling.

My art process and end results are unique to me as an intuitive painter but ultimately bring joy to the viewer. I specialise in large, loose florals and naïve landscape paintings, capturing the beauty of nature and the cheerful, whimsical moments that inspire me every day. I usually add a characterful, sometimes ridiculous animal or bird!

My unique style and intuitive techniques make each canvas truly different. Filled with vibrant colours, dynamic compositions, always made from a place of positivity and joy. You can find my work displayed in galleries and art fairs nationwide, and on my website www.sarahheatherart.com."
