This half-day group workshop with our guest tutor, June Massey, is suitable for all skill levels.

June will teach you how to cut glass and use different types of glass to make your design. It is exciting to produce a piece that gradually grows from a variety of small pieces of glass!

June will bring examples of her work & photographs of other students' work to inspire you.

"As a young child, I was fascinated by the skills of the artists who produced beautiful glass animals using torch work. My love of glass continued throughout my life until a chance opportunity to make a small fused glass coaster ignited a desire to make my own.
After a series of courses, workshops, research and a lot of ‘trial and error’, I turned my love of glass into my business, Semperart Glass. Semper is the Latin word for ‘always’ and reflects the fact that the colour in my glass will stay as beautiful as it leaves the kiln for generations to come. I love the tactile nature of glass and spend hours exploring different techniques.
I love delivering my workshops and enabling people to tap into their creative skills to make glass that they will be proud of. My workshops are relaxing and fun!!
Throughout the years that I collected glass I never thought that I would be able to design and produce my own. It has been an amazing journey which is still continuing!”
